Desk - Important Reminders
- SUSA Future Stars Meet, Friday, May 9
- Our first Future Stars meet of the season is Friday,
May 9 at Eisenhower Pool. All Novice and Bronze group
swimmers are eligible to participate in this meet. The
meet should last until about 7:00 p.m. There are awards
for all swimmers that participate in the meet. We have
posted a sign-up sheet on the SUSA bulletin board. We
hope that all our Novice and Bronze swimmers take
advantage of this wonderful meet. We will need
assistance from SUSA parents, and SUSA swimmers (Silver,
Blue, Gold, Senior group swimmers) in the running of
this meet.
- Warm-ups - 5:30 p.m.
- Meet Starts - 6:00 p.m.
- Sign-up sheets - At Eisenhower Pool
- Caps - as a reminder - only SUSA Team caps can
be worn at SUSA team meets. If you need to
purchase a SUSA cap please see Coach Jeff
Practice Schedule Change - No Practice
Friday, May 9 - Due to the Future Stars
meet all practices on Friday, May 9 have been
cancelled. We need the assistance of our Silver, Blue,
Gold and Senior swimmers in the running of the meet so
we would still love to see all of you at the pool on
Friday night
Meet Sign-up
Sheets - As a reminder, if your have not
returned your meet sign-up sheets as of yet please do so
right away.
SUSA Capital City Classic - June 6-8
- We are already beginning to complete the meet entry
for the SUSA Capital City Classic meet. All SUSA
swimmers are expected to participate in this meet as it
is our big home meet of the year. Please be sure to
return you meet sign-up sheet right away so we can enter
you in this meet.
Decatur Meets - As some of
you already know, the pool that the Decatur Swim Club
uses for their two summer meets will not open this
summer due to extensive damage. The Decatur Swim Club is
looking at alternative locations for this meet but is
does not look good at this point. As such, their two
meets on our schedule (June 20-22 and July 11-13) may be
cancelled. We are currently looking at alternative
meets and should have an answer to you by this weekend.
We are looking at other meets in the
Chicago and
Indianapolis areas (unfortunately there are not
other meets available that are closer). Once we make a
decision about which meets we will attend we will send
out meet sign-up sheets for those meets. In the mean
time please continue to return your meet sign-up sheets
so we can enter you in the rest of the meets on our
schedule. Note: if you previously did not
sign-up for the meet in Quincy you may want to consider
doing so now that the meets in Decatur may be
cancelled. The Quincy meet is a great
meet for all of our swimmers.

Practice Schedule Change - Blue Group
Please note the following change to the
Blue group practice schedule. This change will take place immediately
and remain in effect until further notice.
- The Blue group will now practice from 6:30-8:15 p.m. on
Tuesdays

USA Swimming
Registration -
All
USA Swimming registrations for 2008 must be up-to-date in order for your
SUSA swimmer to continue to practice with
the team and
participate in any meets.
If you have not returned registration form and
check you must do so before participating in practice and/or meets.

Email Distribution List
If you have not been receiving e-mails from our team
please be sure to send your updated e-mail address to Coach Jeff so he can
include you in our e-mail database. We use e-mail to send out important
program information notices (practice changes, event announcements, SUSA weekly
newsletter, etc) and want to make sure you are included in these mailings.
